    early experiences

    Daniel Prendiville

    By Don Campau | 27 October 2011

Irish producer Daniel Prendiville banged out some pretty sweet pop music as far back as the late 80s. At least that’s when I got the tape by his band , “Any Crowded Ceiling”. Soon afterwards, he resorted to his own name, put out more fine pop music and went to CD. He continues today with his fine tenor voice and very able musicianship. Good stuff.

First trade? A guy from the UK I met at a conference in Germany back in 1993. For some bizarre reason, we both had brought along tapes of our own material to listen to for our own amusement. We met at lunch one day and it came up in conversation that we were both involved in music and both bass players. Next thing you know, tapes were exchanged. His tape was pretty good, as I recall – nothing earth-shattering or life-changing but good – solid.
