    Lord Litter

    By Don Campau | 27 October 2011

Lord Litter's ( Jorg Dittmar) style of music runs to basic and good time rock'n roll. Think Everly Bros, The Troggs with a dash of acoustic punk.

I released a best-of-Lord Litter tape which featured many of my favorite songs at the time. Litter continues his activities with his current group, Litter And Leech, which strip things down to two acoustic guitars and vocals.

His early release from the 1980s, "Military Madness". So sorry about the blurry scan.

my very first tape trade was with Matthias Lang (IRRE Tapes. Kindsbach, Germany) – it was 1986. I found his address in a small booklet entitled “The Independent Kontakter”. >>”… for one of your tapes you’ll get one tape in exchange. We are producing cassette compilations with the best new music from all around the world…!” I was’nt awaiting much but the package I received in return for the three tapes I sent, changed the direction of my life – YES it did!

    A) I realised that there was a worldwide scene looking for music and not for products to sell – B) there really was new music out there! – C) this network was worldwide and growing (in no time I got know the whole world via real people and their very own music). The world/culture/pop music etc etc… never was the same again to me .. the second guy I contacted was Andy Xport (Man’ Hate Tapes, U.K.) .. the third one was a certain DON CAMPAU … YES -that’s the way it was …
