Ray Carmen has posted another episode of his podcast program, Ray’s Record Room. Lots of home taper faves like Dino DiMuro, Al Perry, R. Stevie Moore, Russ Stedman and even yours truly. Check it out here.

Francisco Lopez recently sent me news of this new project of Experimental Sound Art. A real ambitious treasure chest of unusual material. Do yourself a favor and get involved in this new venture now.

Experimental musician, visual artist and writer, Phillip B . Klingler has started up a couple of new music blogs. Noise blog “Killing Birds” here.

He also hosts a number of other blogs with a variety of interests here.

On his latest Vital Weekly, Frans De Waard reviews and offers excerpts of a huge amount of experimental sound. Don’t miss it.

In Cassette Culture’s heyday the Texas group YU were a force to be reckoned with issuing fine tapes of electronic sarcasm and wit. Dwain Woodliff has recently been back in touch and has built a tremendous YouTube page of the groups music with images. We will be featuring Dwain’s early experience comments in next months issue. Check out his YouTube pages, start here.

    The Recordings of Linda Smith

Another one of my favorite home tapers, Linda Smith, also recently got in touch after a long absence which pleased me greatly. Her fabulous and personal songs gleam with a unique light. She has posted ALL of her material FOR FREE at this web site. Nice work Linda! She will also be featured in the early experiences section next month.
